So much romancing of the world here. My love for the land, my love for my companion, my love for the spirit journeys through foreign lands that spark learning and understanding. "All who wander are not lost." Though it's attributed to Willie Wonka, this quote is, for me, what Gandalf says to Frodo when they're talking about Gollum, if I remember correctly. In any case, I think of the scene in which Frodo wants to kill Gollum, and he's in a position to do so, but Gandalf assures him that there is much of the story yet to unfold, and we cannot tell so early on if a character will act for good or for evil, so we must all fate to work its winding way. Ha! Gandalf is such a sage.
lyrics
Soul Window Warrior
I could die today in peace
But I want to live
I wanna love you good woman,
Wanna love this land
I wanna savor the juice of life
Like drops of gold
And if I’m singing in your arms,
I’m not afraid to grow old
I wanna feel your love
If I’m sinking in pain and
Celebrate life all over again,
My friend
My soul window warrior, my friend
My mirror, love traveler my friend
We could dream here all our lives,
But let’s go out and live
Before the autumn leaves hit
The ground, we got to ramble
I wanna walk those ancient roads
To understand
I wanna sail those seas with you,
My heart in your hands
I wanna feel your love
If I’m sinking in pain and
Celebrate life all over again
My friend
My soul window warrior, my friend
My mirror, love traveler my friend
My soul window warrior, my friend
My healer, love traveler, my friend
All who wander all not lost,
My friend

This is produced in Yuji Tojo's Santa Cruz, California studio, the song to begin this album project, when other songs hadn't yet even been written. I was inspired to start this album when Mark Oi, stellar star electric guitarist, said this is an epic song and I should record it. So Mark is on lead guitar, and Yuji is playing everything else besides my acoustic guitar and my lead and backing vocals.
